We judge it from the appearance of 13 participants from Japan.
Many are women of whom the hobby who is hiking. Therefore, there seemed especially to be no problem. There was a couple who seemed that it did not walk always so much it, too and it arrived safely though it seemed to have become tired. Therefore, when starting, it seemed that 55km where everyone was able to walk if it was healthy.

However, the tiredness of the air route lasting for 23 hours goes out of Japan in via Singapore. The tiredness of the long journey went out at the supper of Day1, and there were being not able to take meal two people within the range that I knew. One person destroyed the physical condition by the man of the birth in 1929, was not refreshingly next morning, abandoned the traverse from Day2, and became a hotel standby. It was an indeed regrettable situation. Another person was a woman, and this also destroyed the physical condition. It would recover by next morning, and it walked 55km though supper was not able to be taken.

It is said that as for a local guide, there are such a lot of troubles. Especially, the Japanese are a lot of tours of the schedule without room, and will leave the next day that entered the locale. When it wanted to participate in trekking after it had already taken a rest with Queenstown for one day, a local guide was demanded. However, the tour guide was said. When the setting there is the price competition between tour traders, and with room is difficult. Especially, when the senior citizen participated, I thought that it had to schedule it considering this respect enough.

2.Trekking preparation (Carrying goods & Waterproof)
My carrying goods are as reporting by "Briefing & preparation". The carrying goods are this times and do not have a big problem. Especially, food and water, etc. are quite unnecessary. It becomes garbage and will contribute to the envirommental destruction if it brings it. The food of 5Day of Track judges that the necessary one is offered by the necessity and is OK.

Next, it is change of clothes of the undergarment. It is more better to take 2set about this. As for the reason, when it is soaked, and needs changing clothes in the middle point, change of clothes with the lodge are lost. Therefore, 2set recommends T-shirt and socks.

It comments about clothes of rain measures.
I have not trusted the rainwear for walking in the mountain from a current experience so much. It is because it knows it is not possible to endure to walking in rain for a long time. Then, it put on rainwear of a local lending in Milford Track with results on my waxed jacket this time. However, I was not able to prevent T-shirt being gotten wet by rain storm in the Mackinnon pass of Day3.

I do not understand the cause that T-shirt becomes soaked. Then, I told that the waterproof performance of the rainwear of lending was not perfect, and the improvement was necessary for Corey of a local guide. Then, he says that the rainwear is perfect (Water is not passed). The cause that I get wet removes the fastener when the photograph is taken, and puts out the camera. It was presumed that rain went into it at that time. It seems to have to close the fastener firmly, do the face down, and to walk at rain.

I got wet and a climbing mountain shoes put on had not gotten wet inside in the experience in current Japan. However, even the inside became soaked because of rain in the pass this time. Therefore, it should be thought that it gets wet without fail under rain storm.

About the waterproof of the backpack
A big plastic bag in the packing packing. Therefore, it did not get wet at all in this. However, all were dripping wet excluding in the plastic bag. The plastic bag that had been provided in the briefing demonstrated the awesome performance. I survived very much. Thank you very much.

3.Fjord land national park

It is in South Island of NZ, and the area of a fjord land national park are equal to Niigata Prefecture in Japan. Milford Track is a stroll road of one streak in that. The national park establishes it in the book in 1952,and it is recorded that it specified it for "World Heritage" in 1986

. However, the sign of 'World Heritage' was not able to be found anywhere within the range where I walked this time. The majority had been protected since 1904, and seemed Proud of NZ.

It is the largest, and one of the widest, national parks also in the world in 13 that exists in NZ national parks there. Being able to go in and out in the park is only a road on Wilmot Pass that connects the road where Te Anau and milford Sound are connected, Doubtful Sound, and Lake Manapouri and 2 though the range extends to the entire southwest part South Island.

Therefore, the access to other fjord land national parks is possible only the air route and the sea route. The area seems to say 1/10 of the NZ whole land areas, and to reach 2,600,000 hectares.
If it actually visits there, it is a steep rock wall like this photograph though these parks were assumed to be a protective zone in 1904. As for the skirt, going into seemed to be as still extremely as 100 years ago difficult in the jungle of Rain Forest.

4.Other impressions
It is described to have felt it about the participant.
For the Japanese, a rich woman and the man were retirees. Many of Europe and America people is in their 50 from 40 of in the prime of life. They are couple, and because the vacation of 2-3 weeks is taken, it enjoys the life. All participating in 55km is happier. However, the misery of a Japanese man who not the have a day off and was not able to take it was recognized again from the age of the participating person. As for this, Mr. Koizumi, Prime Minister in Japan and the leader of the industry are the one that it wants to recognize it again.

I said to them of the Europe and America people. Though you are happy I said to them of the Europe and America people. However, they run about the continent by car of Japan and are playing. And, when it is the best, the condition of the engine still praises the car of Japan though 500,000KM ran. They seemed to be sending a happy life indeed.

It became it at the end. This time, I experienced Inspire Challenge Indulge Astound that ULTIMATE HIKES CO NZ meant. This became a wonderful experience for my life. And, the Website was edited. It was able to enjoy Milford Track by the twice though this edit was more difficult than 55km of 5Day.
